Franco finished his Yachtmasters with us a couple months ago and is over in the Med starting his yachting career. He just landed a lovely job on a delivery of a beautiful yacht!

Our Yachtmasters are just under a month from completion! They are a strong group, with a great attitude, a lot of passion and really living the adventure!

They returned from doing a mileage trip and are into the Yachtmaster Theory week.

Congrats to Shane and Jan for their recent qualifications.

Shane, the director and owner, just passed his RYA Yachtmaster Instructor shorebased course. This means he can teach right up to Yachtmaster level in the classroom, bringing huge value to the academy!

Jan stole the show by achieving the following;
- RYA SRC (VHF) Radio Instructor.
- RYA Yachtmaster Instructor Shorebased
- RYA Yachtmaster Instructor Practical.

This is a huge achievement for anyone, let alone a 21 year old! Jan did his Yachtmasters with Sail Due South a few years back, then accepted a 1 year internship that he excelled in and subsequently signed on for another 2 years minimum as a full time instructor.

With his new qualifications he is bringing huge benefit to both his own growth in the industry as well as for Sail Due South. He is a true natural!

A huge thank you to the whole team for their support in the hard work it took both guys to get up to standard! A special mention to our Principal, Dustin Jackson, for all his coaching during the studies to reach this goal.

After successful Comp Crew and Day Skipper Theory training the guys are back on the water for the Day Skipper Practical.

All these guys are doing well and aiming for Quarterdeck academy in Croatia after their RYA Training. Soon they will be working on the best flotillas in the world!

Only Sail Due South can provide such huge opportunity and adventure!
