Sail Due South hosts a South African Boerewors Braai evening ...
On Friday we had the ladies finish up their Stewardess Course, Our Coastal Skipper level guys pass their theory/navigation exams and the remaining groups get through the first Comp Crew sailing module of their course ... it was a busy but successful week for all! Having such a diverse group of students from all over the world (7 different countries) we decided to host a South African Boerewors Braai to give everyone a taste of one of our local delicacies. Boerewors is a proudly South African made 'sausage' unlike any other in the world and it is truly juicy and delicious! After the end of the week's de-brief we handed everyone a nice cold beer, started the fire, and kicked back for a great evening on the Crew House balcony while we watched kite-surfers flying by! Thanks for a great evening to everyone!
